Your craving for validation isn’t a bug. It’s a feature.
You know why?
Because you’re designed to be inter-dependent, not totally independent.
Total independence is a lie we’ve been sold. Chase it long enough, and you will eventually be disappointed. When you win the grand finale, there will be no payoff and loved ones to share the joy with.
You know why? Because total independence doesn’t give space for authentic love. It’s selfish. Me, me, me… “Look how cool I am.” “Look at me playing with my pet poodle’s chew toys.” “Look at the amazing leader I am.” “Let my pouting selfies nourish you spiritually.”
Don’t be that person.
I mention this because I care for you, not to offend.
